The Smart CEO Magazine was founded in October 2009 with the goal of presenting to our readers, key decisions made by India’s leading entrepreneurs and CEOs. In the early-days, it was a small business focused on curating for our readers an in-depth view of the finer nuances of building a business, primarily through in-person interviews with entrepreneurs and investors.
We promised ourselves that we wouldn’t misguide anyone with incorrect information, speculative reports or for that matter run opinion pieces based on quasi-research.
Over the last two years, we’ve diversified and started The Smart CEO Media Labs, a content studio which works with over two dozen clients, creating enterprise content needed by the CEO’s office. Our key clients include – Polaris, Mahindra Group, Godrej & Boyce, Rane Group, Wealth Advisors, Veda Corp and Altacit Global, to name a few.
The Smart CEO also runs Brand Owner’s Summit in partnership with afaqs!, publishes Entrepreneurship 101 – a book and workshop for new entrepreneurs and is working towards launching one more brand called The Smart CEO Funding Forum.
The Smart CEO Startup 50 Conference and Awards will, over time, become our flagship event brand targeted towards the Indian entrepreneurship ecosystem. The inaugural edition of Startup50, in 2015, was a grand success for all stakeholders involved – the 50 winners gained tremendously from publicity and network gathered around the event, the sponsors used this cost-effective platform for both lead generation and brand-building efforts, and it was also rewarding experience for all our team members.
